Starting in the health and wellness industry over 10 years ago, I began focusing on gut health issues. From gluten intolerance to unknown bloating, cramping and constipation. There is one thing all my clients had in common, and that is an underlying level of stress that was affecting the health of their gut.

This along with other methods creates the perfect environment for our bodies to heal and repair by itself.

I have guided many women all over the globe to be able to live a healthier lifestyle without looking and feeling like they're heavier than they really are.

My Approach To Gut Health

Hypnotherapy can get to the root cause of the problem and then work a 3 pronged healing approach.

1. What patterns of behaviour you are playing on autopilot in the background that is causing the mental and/or physical stress? As we know, gut health and mental stress can go hand in hand.

2. We look most effective way for you to heal. As we are all different, we look at you, your body and how it wants to heal.

3. We also look at what we need to do to sustain this new level of health and vitality.  What we don't want is the symptoms to come back in one month or one year. We want to make sustainable, effective healing and changes.

We can work together to achieve your health and wellbeing goals. To help heal the body, heal the mind, heal the emotions and give you tools and strategies on how to work with your body on an ongoing basis to maintain optimum health.  

 

The symptoms that you may be experiencing, are your body's way of indicating that something is not quite right and should be explored further before they get to a point where it can get really hard to come back from.  

 

It is normally more than food that is a contributing factor in our digestive problems. Stress, diet and medication are the biggest contributing factors in our poor gut health.  

 

That's where I can help you.  

 

Rather than treating the symptoms, we work on why it is there in the first place. What started this all these many years ago, that has manifested itself into our physical aliments of today?  It also helps us connect our physical symptoms to other mental and physical side effects that our bodies are experiencing.

Where are the sessions held?

Sessions are conducted in Moorabbin, Bayside Melbourne, Victoria or Online via Zoom. Having two options gives you more flexibility for your sessions.

 

What happens if I choose to do my sessions Online?

Online sessions give you more flexibility to sit in the comfort of your own home, without the travel.  We used an app called Zoom that can be downloaded on your phone, or tablet, or accessed via their website on your computer. All you need to do is click on the link provided in your booking confirmation email and follow the prompts.​​

Will hypnosis help me?

If you are ready to move forward and can see the benefits of it, then it will benefit you. As mentioned above with the combination of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy, we approach this from a different angle than the older traditional hypnotherapists. We look at the underlying root cause of why you are experiencing your symptoms.

I have had hypnosis before and it didn't help. How will yours be different?

Any treatment is a combination of 3 factors, the practitioner, the client and the modality. It is important that all three work together in sync to ensure the process is successful.

Within our sessions, we will be using a modern Eriksonion form of Hypnosis that is not script-based and will be curated for you, your needs, and the desired outcome. Traditional hypnotherapy had a success rate of approx 50%, the modern Erikosnion hypnosis which I will be using in our sessions has a success rate of 90%.

How many sessions will I need?

We normally say 6 sessions, this will depend on the individual person and also how committed you are to doing the small amount of homework set out for each session. We like to space them 1 -2 weeks apart for the most effective results.

What can I do in between sessions?

The hypnosis that will be delivered to you in session is always recorded. These will be approx 20 minutes long and Jennifer will email this to you at the end of your sessions, this will be your homework to listen back to for the week following your appointment. We say to try to fit it in 4-5 times that week to really help the hypnosis set into your subconscious. 

I have found with many clients that the easiest time to fit this in is just before sleep, although some clients tell me it is most effective for them upon waking up in the morning. There is no right or wrong time (just NOT while operating a car or heavy machinery), but the time that works for you.
